I’ve been looking forward to this release for some time, finally out on the mighty 20buckspin label – probably one of my favourite splits for quite some time with two of America and Canada’s heaviest hitting shower of bastards. It’s a great departure for Bastard Noise, demonstrating a more cohesive sound which has blended the abrasive electricity of their noisiest releases with their former power violence days as Man Is The Bastard. Expect the usual top quality pulsations and static - but reinforced with Eric Wood’s signature bass runs and growls. It sounds great, it goes straight for the jugular and it’s closest you’ll get to seeing their new empowering live set - essential. As for The Endless Blockade’s side, it’s as solid as you’d expect from the Canadians, more esoteric hardcore and P.V. with enough eeriness and fury to keep all those falsers on their toes, the two remixes included sound excellent as well – but following Bastard Noise on anything is by no means an easy feat, but they hold their own. All in all, an absolutely essential purchase for fans of the genre(s) and decent contender for release of 2010.

Release of 2010 being a powerviolence record would be sweet. haven't heard this yet but TEB are amazing, looking forward to it.
116 days, is that a new record!? (My Snowblood review should be soon...)

Bastard Noise sound amazing on this, sounds like old MITB but with a good production
this is going to be playing constantly for the next couple of weeks. Superb!

I ordered the vinyl of this on 27th January and it's not here yet. Cannot wait to hear it.
Apparently Deep Six had about 500 pre-orders for it though and the first pressing is pretty much gone, so I guess its kinda hard to get that amount of stuff out quickly when it's a one man operation.

is the vinyl sold out?

I'm not sure. Best bet would be to mail Deep Six. There may well be a repress if it is.
